What We Do

Two Ways We Create Value

Power Origination

We identify upstream gas assets with stranded or underutilized production and structure them as viable behind-the-fence generation opportunities for AI inference facilities, HPC data centers, and digital compute tenants, connecting operators with qualified infrastructure partners on a success-fee basis.

Site Development

For select assets, we self-develop smaller generation sites end-to-end, targeting AI and HPC as primary load with Bitcoin mining as flexible headroom absorption. We retain long-term participation through capacity fees, energy billing, and operational management.

The Alberta Opportunity

Why Alberta is Winning the AI Infrastructure Race

Low-Cost Gas
Abundant Fuel Supply

Alberta holds vast reserves of natural gas, much of it stranded or uneconomic to pipe to market. Behind-the-fence generation converts that liability into a competitive power cost advantage for data center operators.

No Grid Exposure
Behind-the-Meter Generation

Behind-the-fence generation bypasses AESO grid charges, transmission tariffs, and curtailment risk entirely. AI and HPC operators get predictable, dedicated power capacity at a fraction of grid-connected cost.

Pro-Business Rules
Alberta Regulatory Environment

Alberta's deregulated electricity market and stable business environment have made it a top destination for AI and digital infrastructure investment. Provincial leadership has actively positioned Alberta as Canada's compute corridor.

Cold Climate
Natural Cooling Advantage

Alberta's climate reduces mechanical cooling loads for high-density compute facilities, lowering both capital cost and PUE. For GPU-dense AI inference workloads, that advantage compounds over the life of the asset.

Jame Energy is positioned at the exact intersection of Alberta's gas infrastructure and the incoming wave of AI compute demand. We know where the gas is, and we know how to structure the commercial arrangements that bring power to the processors.

Why Jame Energy

Field Experience Meets Commercial Discipline

Most companies optimize one layer: a data center, a generator, a mining operation. Jame Energy integrates them. Our principal brings three decades of direct experience across field operations, C-suite commercial roles, and multi-site digital infrastructure, giving us the credibility to operate at every layer of the stack and the judgment to direct each megawatt toward its highest-value use.

About Our Principal

Services

From Wellsite to Watt to AI

We operate at the intersection of Alberta's upstream gas infrastructure and the incoming wave of AI and HPC compute demand, structuring behind-the-fence power opportunities that create durable value for operators, capital partners, and compute tenants.

Service 01 Power Origination

Jame Energy sources behind-the-fence generation opportunities on behalf of EPCM and infrastructure partners. We work directly with upstream operators who hold gas assets that are uneconomic to sell into the market but viable as fuel for local power generation.

What This Looks Like

  • Identifying candidate wells, plants, or batteries with qualifying gas volumes and pressure
  • Conducting preliminary feasibility: available power, fuel economics, site access, and grid proximity
  • Structuring commercial terms between the gas producer and the infrastructure developer
  • Introducing qualified EPCM partners to execute the build and operate the facility

Compensation Model

We earn success fees tied to project milestones, not retainers. Our interests are aligned with closing viable transactions.

Service 02 Site Development

For select sites where the economics support direct participation, Jame Energy acts as developer. We lead the process from site qualification through commercial structure, generator procurement, and ongoing operational oversight, with AI inference and HPC as the primary target load and Bitcoin mining absorbing flexible headroom.

Typical Site Profile

  • Behind-the-fence generation, 400 kW to 20 MW
  • Alberta upstream locations with free or low-cost natural gas
  • Primary tenants: AI inference, GPU cluster hosting, HPC data centers
  • Secondary load: Bitcoin mining for dispatchable headroom absorption
  • AER-compliant natural gas generator configurations

Compute Tenant Economics

Behind-the-fence power from stranded Alberta natural gas positions AI and HPC operators well below typical grid-connected rates in Canada and the United States. Combined with dedicated capacity, no curtailment exposure, and Alberta's natural cooling advantage, the economics are compelling for GPU-dense workloads.

Revenue Participation

We structure revenue through a two-part model: a take-or-pay capacity reservation charge and a pay-as-you-go energy charge, supplemented by operational management fees. This creates a durable, recurring income stream from infrastructure we have originated and built.

Service 03 Advisory & Commercial Structuring

Upstream operators and capital partners sometimes need independent commercial guidance before committing to a gas-to-power project. We provide objective feasibility assessment, commercial term review, and project structuring advice on a defined-scope basis.

Engagements Include

  • Gas-to-power feasibility assessments for specific upstream assets
  • AI and HPC site qualification: power availability, cooling, fiber proximity, and access
  • Commercial term structuring for capacity lease, power purchase, and hosting agreements
  • Operator and compute tenant introductions and partner qualification
  • AER Directive 013 and behind-the-fence regulatory compliance context

About

Built on Thirty Years at the Wellsite

Jame Energy is an Integrated Digital Energy Platform, converting Alberta's underutilized natural gas into AI inference capacity, HPC infrastructure, and digital compute, led by a principal who has operated at every layer of the energy and infrastructure stack.

What Sets Us Apart

Most companies optimize one layer of the infrastructure stack: a data center, a generator, a mining operation. Very few integrate all of these capabilities into a single operating platform. Jame Energy is built on the conviction that fragmentation introduces cost, delay, and execution risk, while integration creates optionality. We have commissioned and operationalized behind-the-fence power generation and compute infrastructure across multiple Alberta sites, giving us a depth of execution experience that few intermediaries can match.

What makes that execution possible is our network. On the energy side, we hold established relationships with Western Canadian upstream E&P companies across Alberta and beyond. On the compute side, we maintain active connections with North American and international AI, HPC, and digital infrastructure operators actively seeking behind-the-fence power capacity. That two-sided network is the platform. We sit at the intersection and structure the transactions that create value for both.

Infrastructure-First Compute

Jame Energy builds infrastructure designed to support the full spectrum of digital workloads, from AI inference and HPC data centers to Bitcoin mining as flexible headroom absorption. Our facilities integrate power generation, SCADA, IIoT, and operational systems into a single managed platform, working directly with each operator's team to increase the value of the asset as a whole. Every megawatt is directed toward its highest-value use at any given moment.

Our Principal

Jame Energy is led by Jay Williams, a Calgary-based energy and digital infrastructure professional with nearly 30 years of direct industry experience. His career spans field operations from 1995, including hydraulic fracturing, drilling, and completions work, through wireline and petrophysics, and into senior commercial and operational roles at oilfield services companies and digital energy infrastructure companies. He has held director-level positions, VP-level network operations and field responsibilities, and interim COO responsibilities, most recently commissioning and operationalizing power generation and compute infrastructure across Alberta in a compressed timeframe.

Vision

Transform Energy into Intelligent Compute

Jame Energy is building a new category of infrastructure company, one that owns and integrates every critical layer from energy production to digital compute.

Our Philosophy

Electricity Is No Longer Simply a Utility

It has become the foundation of the digital economy. Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, Bitcoin, high-performance computing, and future decentralized technologies all depend on one scarce resource: reliable, low-cost energy.

Rather than viewing energy and computing as separate industries, Jame Energy treats them as one integrated system. We are building infrastructure that converts energy directly into digital value.

Our business is converting energy into compute, and owning the platform that connects them. Every application, every workload, every megawatt, directed toward its highest-value use.

The Platform

An Integrated Infrastructure Stack

Layer 01 — Energy
  • Site acquisition and development
  • Resource evaluation
  • Regulatory and permitting
  • Natural gas supply and fuel management
Layer 02 — Power
  • Behind-the-fence power generation
  • Electrical infrastructure
  • Grid-independent capacity
  • Long-term infrastructure management
Layer 03 — Compute
  • AI inference and HPC hosting
  • Digital compute facilities
  • Bitcoin mining (flexible headroom)
  • Compute orchestration and optimization

Owning and understanding each layer creates operational resilience, improves economics, and reduces dependence on third parties. Every megawatt can be directed toward its highest-value use at any given moment.

Guiding Principles

How We Build

Think in Decades

Infrastructure investing rewards patience. We build for the long term, not the next quarter.

Own Critical Infrastructure

We participate across the value chain whenever practical, reducing dependence and capturing more of the economics.

Build Partnerships

The future will be built through ecosystems. We assemble the strongest partners in every discipline rather than trying to own every capability.

Commercialize with Discipline

Innovation alone does not create successful companies. Execution does. We align technology, regulation, finance, and operations into scalable business models.

Create Optionality

Integration allows us to adapt as markets evolve rather than being locked into a single business model. Flexibility is a structural advantage.

Resilient Growth

Our objective is not simply growth. It is resilient, repeatable growth, built on ownership, operational control, and deep domain expertise.

Our Vision

To Become North America's Most Trusted Integrated Digital Energy Infrastructure Company

Transforming energy into intelligent compute while creating long-term value for investors, partners, communities, and future generations.
